GuallaMannSlim is an independent artist, self -described as having a "trapcentric" sound influenced by the world around him in Dallas, Texas. His sound is similiar to trap rap or trap music with a beat and melody you can dance too. He uses lyrical play with his vocals to add flare and a signature uniqueness. The sound is infectious and has intrigued a diverse following. 

 

The ups and downs of his life have made him realize that a life in the streets inhibits his real career as an artist and a brand. It was then that he began seriously pursuing music as a career. He began a small independent rap group named St. Mafia who released a mixtape, "SMB Volume 1", in 2010. The following year GuallaMann$lim released his first solo mixtape named " Hardwurk". Going into the next couple of years, GuallaMann faced a personal struggle between the streets and the studio. Trying to join the two for him became difficult when he would see himself in and out of the court room. 

 

Fast forward to the current year and GuallaMann is making up for lost time with the release of his new mixtape on February 7, 2017. "Welcome to GuallaWorld" has garnered attention from a diverse age group and liked by various ethnic groups. "Soooped Up" is the first single off the new mixtape, available on ITunes and a new music video on World Star Hip Hop. "Welcome to GuallaWorld" is available for download on Dat Piff, LiveMixtapes, My Mixtapez, and Spinrilla. The mixtape can also be streamed on Pandora, Audiomack, Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, Google Music, and Shazam.
